What is a VA Loan?
VA Loans, also known as Veterans Affairs Loans or Military Home Loans, are mortgages backed by the Department of Veterans Affairs. VA Loans were created to specifically help America’s military personal purchase homes even when they may not otherwise qualify.
You Have Options
We understand that you may not have the time to research all of the different loan programs available or you might not even be aware of most of them. That's why our team of experts is here to help! We will work with you to find the best loan program for your specific situation.
VA Loans:
- Do not require a down payment
- Require a 580+ credit score
- Require the borrower to pay a one-time fundraising fee in place of Private Mortgage Insurance
Who Qualifies?
In order to be eligible for a VA Loan, you must be either an active-duty service member, an honorably discharged Veteran who meets certain qualifications, someone who has served more than six years in the National Guard or the Selected Reserve, or a spouse of a service member who died in service.
Other Loan Options
- Conventional Loans - Conventional Loans are the most common type of home loan, probably due to their many benefits.
- FHA Loans- An FHA home loan is backed by the government and may be a good option if you have limited savings or a lower credit score.
- USDA Loans - USDA Loans are home loans that are backed by the US Department of Agriculture.
GET STARTED ON YOUR
PRE-APPROVAL
- Fill out a loan application, meet with a Loan Officer, and submit your documentation (i.e. your tax returns and bank statements)
